PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce crosstalks to an optical receiving part, and to readily materialize miniaturization and cost reduction. SOLUTION: This transmitting and receiving module 1a is equipped with a laser diode 18, driven by a complementary differential signal for transmitting optical signal to the outside, a photodiode 20 for receiving the optical signal from the outside, and a package 10 for housing the laser diode 18 and the photodiode 20. The capacitance between the anode of the laser diode 18 and the package 10 is substantially equal to the capacitance between the cathode of the laser diode 18 and the package 10.
