PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member for an electromagnetic induction heating fixing device which maintains stable heat-generation property. SOLUTION: A fixing belt 61 comprises: a base material 61a which includes polyimide resin of an imidization rate of 50% to 90% and has an elastic modulus of at least 4.5 GPa; and a metal layer 61b including copper, wherein volume average particle size of copper crystal in the metal layer 61b is in the range of 3μm to 20μm, thereby, cracking or the like in the metal layer 61b is reduced, the heat-generation property over a long term is maintained and, further, heat radiation amount of the heat generated in the metal layer 61b is reduced by thermal insulation effect of the base material 61a to reduce a warm-up time.
