PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning and fixing method of a lens capable of fixing the lens to a lens frame at high positional accuracy. SOLUTION: The aligning and fixing method comprises: a lens molding step of making a lens of resin and forming an abutting section on the lens that abuts on the lens frame; a lens frame molding step of making the lens frame of a resin material of the same type as the lens, and forming, on the lens frame, an abutting light receiving section that abuts on the abutting section and absorbs a laser beam; an aligning step of tilt-adjusting and supporting the lens on the lens frame while the abutting section is brought into contact with the abutting light receiving section; and a welding step of irradiating the abutting light receiving section of the lens frame with a laser beam through the abutting section of the lens, and laser-welding the abutting section and the abutting light receiving section.
