PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional sieve basket capable of draining off water of a food material, removing mud, rubbing the food material with salt, removing a thin skin, and the like, having multifunction such as usable as a pot holder, and saving a storage space. SOLUTION: This sieve basket has a bottom part and a side part and has a substantially sieve-like shape, the whole body is formed of a material with heat resistance, antislip property, and flexibility, and this sieve basket also has projections for raising the bottom, and draining holes for highly efficiently draining the water between respective optional projections.
