PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which can favorably reduce noise and a magnetic resonance imaging system using this structure. SOLUTION: The system has a structure which consists of members made of fiber-reinforced resin materials including reinforcing fibrous base materials and arranged adjacent to each other and exhibits sound deadening property. The adjacent members made of the fiber-reinforced resin materials exhibit rigidity different from each other and contain different amount of reinforcing fibrous base materials. In this manner, they exhibit different rigidity in adjacent direction. Also, at least one of a vacuum container having magnetostatic field coils for forming a uniform magnetic field space, an RF coil, a gradient magnetic field coil and a sound source generating sound of the system is covered with the structure.
