PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacturing method which can be used desirably to produce seal ring with encoder 11 to be mounted on ball bearing incorporated into wheel rotation support of two-wheeled motor vehicle. SOLUTION: In this method, a first the seal ring 15 comprising cored bar 17 and elastic sealing material 18, and a unmagnetized loop magnetic member being an intermediate material of the encoder 16, are respectively manufactured as a separate substance. In this case, this magnetic member is desirably manufactured by means of a disk gate method or a ring gate method-based field injection molding. Thereafter, this magnetic member is adhesively-fixed in a concentric fashion to side face of the above cored bar 17, where a room-temperature curing type adhesive is preferably used. Further thereafter, above magnetic member is magnetized, to complete the above encoder 16. This magnetization is preferably made by a using index magnetization method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
