PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein information about earthquake and a coping means therefor should be quickly informed to reduce damages, in a situation that cannot predict the inevitable generation of earthquake, and the problem wherein the effect of restraining the damage is not fully expected, because the information of the generation of the earthquake is informed only to broadcast listening people, or because delays in the information of the coping means or the like is generated in a conventional means, even though the information of the generation of the earthquake is broadcasted through TV or radio immediately after the earthquake is generated, by issuing substantially instantaneously an alarm regarding the information on the generation of the earthquake and the coping means, by voice. SOLUTION: An earthquake warning device reads information of an acceleration sensor by a microcomputer, to be subjected to digital-signal processings, and conduct a guide by a proper voice content for the people to act safely and calmly so as not to bring the people into a panic state, in response to the existence of earthquake or the estimated result of earthquake strength.
