PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an adhesive improving the bonding strength of the adhesive between an impression material and a tray, showing high bonding strength for any of the trays made from a metal, made from a resin and made from a modeling compound, and especially for the tray made from a resin, and showing high bonding strength even in the case of having the tray surface of a low roughness. SOLUTION: This adhesive of an alginate impression material with the tray for impression is characterized by containing (A) inorganic particles produced by surface-treating with a coupling agent having an amino group and having the amino group on their surfaces, and preferably having≥0.5/nm<SP>2</SP>number of amino groups presenting in the surfaces, and (B) a solvent.
