An air tool that can be easily assembled. The air tool has a tool housing (18) and an air supply tube (36). The tool housing (18) includes a motor receiving section (16) having a tubular wall (14) and also includes tubular air supply/discharge section (34) connected to the side face of the tubular wall and extending to the rear of the air tool. The air supply tube (36) has valve means and is inserted and set in the air supply/discharge section. The air supply/discharge section (34) has an air supply path (56) extending from the motor receiving section (16). When the air supply tube (36) is inserted into the air supply/discharge section (34) and fixed, the front end of the air supply tube (36) is connected to a rear end opening (56c) of the air supply path (56) of the air supply/discharge section (34), and this forms a path for supplying compressed air to an air motor.
