摘要 Intended is to provide an injection molding apparatus capable of preventing the distortion or the like of a molding at the molding time. Provided is an injection molding apparatus (100) for molding an optical element by injecting a resin through a gate (GA) into a cavity (CV) which is formed of a stationary mold (61) and a movable mold (62). The injection molding apparatus (100) is characterized in that the gate (GA) is arranged on the lower side of the center of the cavity (CV). As a result, the gate (GA) is arranged on the lower side of a molding (MP) so that the main resin charging direction can be made upward of the gate (GA), thereby to prevent the distortion on the lower side of the gate (GA). Moreover, the resin fed from the gate (GA) is injected into the resin injected in advance, so that the entrainment of air can be suppressed. As a result, the hardening obstruction by oxygen can be reduced to shorten the hardening time period.
