The method involves detecting a moving obstacles (5) by a side of the vehicle (10), where a warning is delivered to another vehicle side (8) in vehicle environment. A direction of motion (6) of moving obstacle is determined itself at the vehicle and a warning is displayed at the side of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a controller for causing display of a warning in a vehicle environment for transportation of passengers.
