The invention relates to enteric coated pharmaceutical formulations of omeprazole comprising hydroxypropyl methylcelullose (HPMC) of low viscosity andáspecific cloud point as aábinding agent or aáconstituent of aálayer separating enteric coating layer from aácore material containing omeprazole, processes form their production, their use for the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment gastrointestinal diseases and the use of HPMC of low viscosity with specific cloud point in the manufacture of enteric coated oral pharmaceutical formulations of omeprazole.
