MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LIGHT GUIDE FILM FOR LCD BACKLIGHT AND LGF USING THE SAME

A manufacturing method of a light guide film for an LCD backlight is provided to easily manufacture a light guide film that is remarkably slim as compared with conventional manufacturing methods through an automation process by manufacturing the light guide film through series of processes while rolling an optical film with light-emitting characteristics on a reel, and the light guide film for the LCD backlight manufactured by the same is provided. A manufacturing method of a light guide film for an LCD backlight comprises: a step(S100) of punching guide holes in a width directional end of an optical film consisting of polycarbonate(PC) or polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA) in the length direction of the optical film; a step(S200) of hot-pressing the guide hole-punched optical film along a predetermined length based on the guide holes, and forming patterns on at least one side of the hot-pressed optical film; a step(S300) of cooling the pattern-formed optical film, and adhering a protection film to both sides of the cooled optical film; and a step(S400) of cutting the protection film-adhered optical film to a predetermined shape.
