A method for automatically executing the applications of a mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication terminal thereof are provided to enable a mobile communication terminal automatically to execute the application corresponding to an event message transferred from an external terminal including WPAN. An external terminal and a mobile communication terminal sets up the WPAN communication between WPAN members which are included at the external terminal and the mobile communication terminal(S101). The external terminal transmits an event message to the mobile communication terminal(S103). The mobile communication terminal checks over whether or not the event message transferred from the external terminal by performing a polling operation every period(S105). If so, the mobile communication terminal drives the application corresponding to the event message in order for a user to check the result on a display screen(S107,S109).
