<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device control method for actualizing accurate printing as required when a printing-planed region for printing data and a printable region for media are different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: The control method comprises a step S11 of detecting the printable region A for the media M before executing printing processing and determining whether the detected printable region A matches to the printing-planed region for the printing data, or not, and a step S13 of executing printing processing only when it matches thereto, interrupting printing processing when it does not match thereto, and executing printing processing when the execution is instructed by a user (a step S14: Yes). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
