<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device in which a light guide member capable of emitting emission light on the whole face of an emitting direction can be achieved, and accordingly, in which there is no necessity of large-sizing of the whole member (device) to obtain a light-emitting face (emitting part) of a desired size, and in which downsizing can be easily achieved. <P>SOLUTION: The device is composed of a light source 2, the light guide member 1 equipped with a molding part 12a to guide light from the light source 2 from an incident part 11, to carry out total reflection, and to further reflect the light after the total reflection on a reflecting face and emit it, and a cabinet 5 to house the light source 2 and the light guide member 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
