<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which utilizes a traffic card preventing illegal use. <P>SOLUTION: In a card system comprising a card, a card reader device, a wireless base station, a position registering server and an authentication server, when a communication area to which one card reader device belongs is registered by the position registering server, the authentication server extracts usage propriety information of a card belonging to the communication area, included in stored usability information.
