<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent set information for another settlement terminal from being downloaded in error. <P>SOLUTION: At first, the terminal ID of a settlement terminal 30 to be a setting object is stored in a manager's IC card 1 and a definition PC 20 adds the terminal ID to terminal definition information set in the PC 20 itself and transmits the terminal definition information to which the terminal ID is added to a definition storage server 10. The definition storage server 10 correspondingly stores the terminal definition information and the terminal ID, generates a URL indicating a storage destination and transmits the URL to the definition PC 20. The definition PC 20 writes the URL in the IC card 1. Then, the manager returns to the settlement terminal 30 to be the setting object and downloads the terminal definition information to the settlement terminal 30 by an access using the URL, but if the terminal ID of the settlement terminal 30 does not coincide with the terminal ID stored in the IC card 1, the access is not executed and the terminal definition information is not downloaded as a matter of course. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
