<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the conveying state while reducing damages on a conveying body without restriction of arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: A paper sheet conveying state detector 1 comprises a photo interrupter 12 in which the signal is changed to ON or OFF by blocking an optical path, and a gear 22 which has a shutter part for blocking the optical path of the photo interrupter 12 and a tooth 22a as a plurality of contact parts to be brought into contact with a paper sheet to be conveyed, and is rotated based on the contact state with the paper sheet, and the tooth 22a periodically blocks the optical path according to the rotation of the gear 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
