PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for generating an interrupt in an event recorder, which prevents the occurrence of trouble in the data recorded in the event recorder; an event recorder; and an electronic appliance equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The event recorder 10 includes: a clocking unit 12 for clocking time and outputting time data; an event detection circuit 20 for detecting the generation of an event; a memory 30 that has a plurality of addresses and records event information including the time data; a setting register 36 for setting one of the plurality of the addresses as an alarm generation address; and a control circuit 24 for setting an address where the event information is recorded and generating an interrupt when the set address corresponds with the alarm generation address.
