摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of allowing a joint part between photoelectric conversion substrates to be inconspicuous in a radiation image obtained by a photoelectric conversion section. SOLUTION: The plurality of photoelectric conversion substrates 12 each having photoelectric conversion elements 14 in pixel units arranged thereon are stuck with each other to form the photoelectric conversion section 13 so as to make the photoelectric conversion elements 14 to be adjacent to each other. In the photoelectric conversion section 13, the photoelectric conversion elements 14 are arranged such that distances of the pixel units are made to be in a prescribed value and an area of the photoelectric conversion element 14 is made smaller as it is in closer proximity to the adjacent photoelectric conversion substrate 12. As a sensitiveness of the photoelectric conversion element is made lower as it is in closer proximity to the joint section of the photoelectric conversion substrates 12, a difference in sensitivity at the joint part of the photoelectric conversion substrates 12 is reduced. As a result, it is possible to make the joint section between the photoelectric conversion substrates 12 to be inconspicuous in a radiation image obtained by the photoelectric conversion section 13.
