PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a part temporarily fixing two members to each other which constitute a header tank from being an obstacle for fitting a connector for a refrigerant while avoiding the complication of machining equipment. SOLUTION: In this header tank 3, a tank body 17 and a plate 19 are superposed on each other to form a refrigerant passage 21 inside, and a connector 13 serving as a supply opening for the refrigerant or a discharge port for the refrigerant is mounted to the tank body 17. In the plate 19, both side edges in the width direction have flanges 19b bent toward the tank body 17, and the flanges 19b are disposed outside to cover flanges 17c of the tank body 17. In this state, joint parts between the flanges 17b and the flanges 19c are temporarily fixed by laser spot welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
