PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suppressing coalescence or association of emulsion particles or micelles in a skin care preparation for external use in an emulsion dosage form or a solubilization dosage form comprising a beautifying and whitening agent, an antiinflammatory agent or a dermal structure-improving agent. SOLUTION: A protein hydrolyzate acylated with a 10-30C acyl group is incorporated into the skin care preparation for external use in an emulsion dosage form or a solubilization dosage form comprising a beautifying and whitening agent, an antiinflammatory agent or a dermal structure-improving agent.
