PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for analyzing the brain function capable of applying a stimulation to the brain by a TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), simultaneously therewith, examining a change in the brain function, and determining an optimal magnetic stimulation site and magnetic stimulation period following the brain function fluctuating temporally. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a brain function measuring section 11 for measuring the brain function by fNIRS (functional near-infrared spectroscopy), a brain stimulation section 12 for applying the TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), and a control section 10 for executing the brain function measurement by the fNIRS in parallel to the brain stimulation by the TMS; specifies the position and a timing for applying the brain stimulation by the TMS by the fNIRS; and measures the brain function while monitoring the precise position by specifying the position to which the TMS applies the brain stimulation, by the fNIRS.
