PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide member capable of giving power of harmony to furniture or the like for storing books and the like by giving a change to an arrangement itself of the books, and of copying and burying information which symbolizes a specific phenomenon to arranged objects, such as the books. SOLUTION: The guide member 1 is placed on a storage shelf 2, such as a rack, and includes: a reference surface 10 to be a reference for positioning the member 1 with respect to a shelf 20 or the like of the storage shelf 2; parallel surfaces 12, 12 extended almost orthogonally to the reference surface 10 from respective both ends 11, 11 of the reference surface 10; and a guide surface 14 which is formed between each end part 13 and 13 of the parallel surfaces 12, 12 and arranges CD cases 3 as the objects to be arranged.
