SOLUTION: In response to a remote control key 2, identification information encrypted by an encryption section 23 using a first encryption key K1 is transmitted to a receiving apparatus 10 by a transmitting section 21. In the receiving apparatus 10, a receiving section 11 receives the encrypted identification information, and a decryption section 13 decrypts the information using a second encryption key K2 pairing with the first encryption key K1.
