<p>The present invention provides a composition which comprises: an effective amount of (a) praziquantel and (b) a second endoparasiticidal agent selected from the group consisting of a macrocyclic lactone, imidacloprid and a combination thereof; and (c) 4-allyl-2-methoxyphenol as carrier. Also provided is a method for the treatment of endoparasitic infection and infestation in a homeothermic animal.</p>
