A black matrix composition is provided to improve a black rate of the black matrix, to reduce an exposure margin and to diminish manufacturing cost. A black matrix(130) composition comprises a glass frit including a first black pigment, a second black pigment, a binder, a photopolymer, a photoinitiator and a solvent. The first black pigment is one or more of cobalt oxide(CoxOx), manganese cobalt oxide(MnxCoxOx), carbon black and iron oxide(FexOx). The second black pigment comprises one or greater of the cobalt oxide(CoxOx) or a ruthenium oxide(RuxOx).
