INTER-AS TE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING WITH REDUCED SIGNALING OVERHEAD FOR DIFFSERV-OVER-MPLS NETWORK

An inter-autonomous system traffic engineering performance management system reducing the overhead of the signal for a differentiated service multi protocol label switch network is provided to execute the monitor of TE link QoS performance. A center NMS(201) continuously collects a performance parameter from all path NMS(202). An Ingress NMS collects the capability information in order to discover any violation. The intermediate NMS controlling AS for analyzing the LSP performance between both ends is set up. If it is discovered of any kinds of violation, the Intermediate NMS contacts the Ingress NMS. After notice is received from intermediate NMSs, the ingress NMS saves the LSP reroute according to violation between both ends of NMS.
