A system and a method for supplying a USB service in a gateway in which USB(Universal Serial Bus) is connected are provided to provide a convenient USB service to a customer by providing the USB service based on a gateway. A gateway(30) is connected to a first terminal(10), a USB device(20) and a management server(50). While a USB connection function executes a USB sever function, it communicates with the management server and the mediation function. The first terminal is the apparatus for taking advantage of the service of USB while being connected to the gateway. The second terminal has the client function about the service which USB device provides while being connected through internet to the gateway. The management server is connected through internet to the gateway.
