APPARATUS AND METHOD OF RELAY STATION FOR INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A repeater station apparatus for the interference cancellation in a communications system and a method thereof for expecting system capacity improvement due to the increment of the system capacity are provided to remove the interference of e sending/receiving signal between the transmission antenna of RS and RX-antenna when the RS(Relay Station) receives signal from the BS(Base Station). An RF/IF reception terminal(303) receives a signal through the RX-antenna and outputs the signal to the A/D converter(305). After inputting the analog signal which the RF/IF reception end outputs and converting into the digital signal, the A/D converter outputs the signal to the receive module(307). After inputting the signal which the A/D converter outputs, the receive module outputs the signal to a data buffer(309).
