An axial swage connector comprises an annular coupling body 2 with an axial bore 6 for receiving a pipe end, and a profiled exterior surface. An anchoring ring 3 with a profiled inner surface is forced over the body to develop a camming action and deform the teeth 7, 9, 11, 13 to lock the pipe end. The outer surface of the body 2 has an outwardly extending tail 17 which clips the ring 3 in place, to prevent the ring 3 from working loose. |
