High crystalline polypropylene waxes

Polypropylene wax having a dripping- and/or softening point ring/sphere of greater than 155[deg] C, a heat of fusion of greater than 80 J/g; and a differential scanning calorimetry-melting point of greater than 155[deg] C, is claimed. An independent claim is included for the preparation of (I) comprising reacting propylene with a metallocene compound in the presence of cocatalyst at 40-140[deg] C, and at olefin-partial pressure of 1-50 bar.
