A coordinate decision device and a coordinate decision method determining the coordinate of icons on a display screen of a mobile communications terminal for enlarging the icon based on the centric coordinates of the determined focus are provided to determine the coordinate of the focused icon on the display screen of the mobile communications terminal. A display unit indicates one or more icon including the icon focused on a display screen(S62). A background color decision unit of a focusing decision unit determines the icon choice screen. The RGB value of each quadrant is determined by pixel. The number of the pixel having the same RGB value is counted according to the RGB value and the background color is determined(S64). The background color comparison unit compares the RGB value determined in each icon area with the stored RGB value(S66). Pixels in which the RGB value is changed are checked and the focus color and focus section are determined(S68).
