A luminescent display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent dielectric breakdown due to static electricity by increasing thickness of an insulating layer between a source supply line and a test signal line. A plurality of first signal lines and a plurality of second signal lines are formed on a substrate in order to be crossed. A plurality of luminescent devices are connected between a plurality of first signal lines and a plurality of second signal lines. A source supply line(118d) supplies power supply voltage to the luminescent device. Each test signal line(114c) is connected to one among the first signal line and the second signal line. The test signal line is opened in the part crossed toward the source supply line. The opened both ends of the test signal line are connected to a conductive region(110b) through a contact hole(113). The contact hole is formed in an insulating layer between the source supply line and the test signal line. The distance between the opened both ends of the test signal line is longer than the width of the source supply line.
