An LCD device is provided to reduce parasite capacitance caused by coupling between a data line and a pixel electrode, thereby reducing a load of a data driving IC and a data line as increasing an aperture ratio, and preventing light leakage. A gate line(22) is formed on a substrate. A retention electrode line(28) is formed on the substrate, and is separated from the gate line. A first data line(62a) and a second data line(62b) are insulated from the gate line and the retention electrode line, and cross with the gate line. A first TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is connected to the gate line and the first data line. A second TFT is connected to the gate line and the second data line. A first pixel electrode(82a) is connected to the first TFT. A second pixel electrode(82b) is connected to the second TFT. A shielding electrode(21) is separated from the first data line.
