A solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve conversion efficiency of a solar battery by using a polycrystalline silicon layer. A first conductive first silicon layer(40) is formed on a substrate(10). A second conductive second silicon layer(50) is formed on the first silicon layer. A second conductive third silicon layer(60) is formed on the second silicon layer. At least one of first, second, and third silicon layers includes a metal element. The substrate includes the glass, the plastic, the silicon, and the metal. |
