A sensor for measuring bio information using light guide plate and a key pad assembly using the same are provided to facilitate integration along with other devices inside a mobile terminal. A sensor(100) for measuring bio information comprises a light guide plate(110), an optical extracting pattern(120), and an optical coupling pattern(130). The light guide plate guides a first light. The light extracting pattern is formed on the light guide plate, and outputs the first light to outside of the light guide plate by the light guide plate. The light coupling pattern is formed on the light guide plate, change progressive direction of a second light irradiated form the outside of the light guide plate, and guides the second light by the light guide plate.
