The device (1) has an electrical component (3) with a force sensor fixed at a body (4) of a motor vehicle, such that a measuring signal based on deformation of the body is generated at a measuring signal output of the sensor. An evaluation device is connected with the measuring signal output for processing the signal. The sensor has piezo-resistive elements, which are monolithically integrated with a complementary MOS (CMOS) chip (2) and an evaluation unit. The evaluation device has a non-volatile memory electrically EPROM (EEPROM) in which an actuation characteristic is stored. |
