A drum type washing machine is provided to detect vibration generated from a tub by outputting a signal according to the acceleration to 1 direction with an acceleration detection device. A drum type washing machine comprises a water tub(2), a quadrature axis shape tub structure(3) including a spin basket arranged to be rotate in the tub inside, an acceleration detection device(27a,27b) detecting vibration generated in the tub by outputting a signal according to the acceleration to 1 direction and a control device controlling the washing operation based on the output of the acceleration detection device. The acceleration detection device is installed in order to detect the acceleration of the different direction which is a front and back part of the water tub. |
