A scroll compressor is provided to obtain a low cooling capacity without changing the height of laps or radii of basic circles of fixed and orbiting scrolls. At least one of a plurality of laps(111) is formed with a plurality of involutes not to form a compression chamber from end angles to certain central angles of fixed and orbiting laps, wherein the laps are formed with first involutes(Cf1) from starting angles to the central angles and second involutes(Cf2) from the intermediate angles to the end angles. The second involutes have radii of basic circles larger than those of the first ones. |
