A reciprocating type compression spring damper and a fall prevention device of a bridge using the same are provided to prevent the accidental fall of a bridge deck effectively when an earthquake occurs, and to maximize the aesthetic effect of a bridge by using a reciprocating type compression spring damper having excellent outward appearance. A reciprocating type compression spring damper comprises an inner cylinder(110) composed of a front plate(113), a rear plate(114) and a lower plate(115) connecting the front plate and the rear plate integrally, a compression spring(130) installed to an inside space of the inner cylinder, a rectangular tube shaped outer cylinder surrounding the outside of the inner cylinder, a spring compression plate supported elastically to the upper part of the compression spring, an outer cylinder cap coupled to the bottom of the outer cylinder, and an inner cylinder cap(112) coupled to the top of the inner cylinder exposed to the top of the outer cylinder which is not coupled with the outer cylinder cap. |
