A method of determining absolute azimuth by using a 3-axis thin-film flux gate sensor and a 3-axis acceleration sensor is provided to measure the absolute value of a magnetic field applied to each axis to primarily measure relative azimuth easily without performing a correction operation according to a user. An absolute azimuth measuring method using a 6-axis sensor set in an electronic device corrects a magnetic field in the electronic device and measures the absolute azimuth of the earth magnetic field by using three magnetic field data signals measured by a 3-axis flux gate sensor and a gradient measured by a 3-axis acceleration sensor and uses a flux gate thin-film sensor to measure the absolute values of internal and external magnetic fields of the electronic device.
