A filter for a slim type gas mask is provided to improve the inside of the filter and to increase the flow channel to the utmost. A filter for a slim type gas mask comprises: an outer cover(101) in which an outside filter layer(102) is arranged at the outer side and the inside filter layer(109) is arranged in the connecting part; and a purge material in which the catalyst filter material is adhered to the space between the inside filter layer and the outside filter layer. The catalyst filter material uses the mineral of the bentonite series as the main materials. A pair of horizontal plates and vertical plates are installed between the outside filter layer and inside filter layer.
