A driving method of a piezoelectric actuator is provided to controls speed by using longitudinal effect of a piezoelectric element. A piezoelectric actuator comprises a laminated piezoelectric element(12) and a stator. The laminated piezoelectric element comprises a plurality of inner electrodes. A plurality of inner electrodes comprises inner electrodes(121) of a first group and inner electrodes(122) in a second group. The stator is installed in one end of the laminating direction of the laminated piezoelectric element. A projection is formed in the central part of the stator. The displacement of the laminated piezoelectric element is opposite in the inner electrode of the first group and the inner electrode of the second group. The predetermined driving voltage is applied from the same drive power(50) in the inner electrode of the first group and the inner electrode of the second group. Therefore, the elliptic motion of the projection is performed. |
