ARRAY SUBSTRATE FOR A DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An array substrate for a display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce applied stress during formation processes of each layer that constitutes an array substrate, thereby preventing deformation of the substrate. A substrate(100) is equipped. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is formed on the substrate, and includes plural metal patterns. Insulating layers(150~160) mutually insulate the metal patterns, and are formed by being separated from each other as much as predetermined width along at least one-sided edge of the substrate. The insulating layers are formed by being separated as much as predetermined width toward an inner side of the substrate from at least one side of the substrate.
