A power toothbrush is provided to improve the plaque removal strength and sample feeling of the power toothbrush while not increasing the power consumption. A power toothbrush comprises: a driving source(13); an oscillating member having a brush(210); a motion transmission mechanism converting the output of the driving source into the vibration of the oscillating member; and a driving circuit controlling the output of the driving source. The oscillating member includes a first resonance point in which the brush resonates in the first direction and a second resonance point in which the brush resonates in the second direction. The driving circuit includes first and second modes controlling the output of the driving source.
