An organic light emitting display and a driving method thereof are provided to display the uniform luminance by compensating for the deterioration of the OLED(organic light emitting diode) generated in the specific area of the panel. A scan driver(10) supplies the scanning signal to the scanning line. A data driver(20) supplies the specific data signal to the data lines. The pixels(40) generate the light corresponding to the current amount flowing from the first power source to the second power source. The resistance (Rs) locates between the second power source and the pixels. The amplifier(60) amplifies the voltage applied in the resistance during the sensing period. An A/D converter(70) converts the amplified voltage into the digital value. The memory(80) stores the digital value. A comparator(90) compares the digital value of the pixels with the digital value of the specific pixel, generates the reference value and transmits the generated reference value to the timing control part. A timing controller(50) changes the bit value of data to be supplied to at least one region among the upper region and lower region.
