A portable terminal is provided to enhance user's convenience by enabling an earset to be detachably mounted on the body of the terminal. An earset mounting unit(200) is formed in a terminal body. One end of an earset(100) is rotated as being hooked at the earset mounting unit so that the earset can be mounted on the body or separated from the body. A locking unit is formed at the earset mounting unit and earset to lock or unlock the earset. The earset mounting unit becomes dented on one surface of the terminal body so that a part of the earset can be locked. An earset hooking groove at which the earset is hooked is formed in a lower end of the earset mounting unit. The earset comprises a speaker.
