A plasma display panel is provided to minimize the power loss due to the electrode self-resistance by comprising constant electrodes with the metal material with excellent conductivity. The first substrate(110) and the second substrate(120) are arranged to face each other. The first substrate and the second substrate are made of the glass substrate consisting of glass or the plastic sheet. The first substrate is made of material having the excellent optical transparency. A partition(124) partitioning off a plurality of discharge cells(S) is arranged between the first and the second substrate. The partition comprises a row barrier rib part(124a) and a column barrier rib part(124b). A plurality of address electrodes(112) are arranged on the first substrate. Each address electrode comprises an address electrode line(112b) and a transparent electrode(112a). The transparent electrode is periodically protruded to the discharge cell inner side along the address electrode line. The transparent electrode has the high permeability of the visible light. |
